Augie Gastelum

Agustin “Augie” Gastleum was born in Obregon Sonora, Mexico in 1981. At the age of 5, his family moved to Mesa, Arizona where he still resides. As a young entrepreneur, Augie started his first business at the age of 20, importing hand carved stone from Mexico for high-end custom homes. His success in business allowed him to get more involved in the community by serving on the board of directors of multiple non-profit organizations and city wide advisory boards. Augie’s introduction to NEDCO was as a consultant, as he led the formation of the Latino Business Alliance. He has now been Executive Director since July 2015. He also spends time in Puerto Rico and has a growing real estate listings services business in Puerto Rico
