PUBLIC SPACE BEAUTIFICATION
Community Infrastructure Improvements
Incredible businesses: check. Fun events and promotion: check. People who want to visit: check. But how easy is it for these folks to find the business, navigate their way there, and do they have opportunities to enjoy public space in the area, skyrocketing the chances of them sticking around the area? That is what “community infrastructure” is about: bicycle racks, pocket parks, shade and places to rest for pedestrians.
Curb appeal gets customers. Our façade improvement programs focus on helping existing businesses increase sales with more foot traffic. Working with business and property owners, we find new opportunities to improve existing structures. Past projects include replacing a storefront’s broken windows and door. Current projects include a partnership with the Arizona Sign Association to restore the historic Watson’s Flowers neon sign and the installation of new signage at Moroccan Paradise, Apache’s newest restaurant.
